After deleting a Cron job it can take a few hours before the emails will stop.  However, if you are still receiving emails after this specified time, you need to put the following into the fields for Sheduled Tasks:

/bin/true

Then that should resolve this issue for you and stop the emails.

It is possible you may receive an additional email but after an hour or so the Cron job should have stopped.
